Role Purpose :
Safely operate the ambulance/medical vehicle and support patient transport and on-site medical operations. Ensure timely dispatch, vehicle readiness, and professional assistance to the clinical team while adhering to safety, infection-control, and company policies.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely drive the ambulance/medical vehicle; comply with traffic laws, route plans, and dispatch instructions.
- Assist clinical staff with stretcher handling, patient lifting/transfers, and scene safety.
- Maintain vehicle readiness (fuel levels, cleanliness, supplies) and perform pre/post-trip checks (lights, tires, sirens where applicable).
- Support basic first-aid within certified scope; activate emergency protocols as instructed by medical staff.
- Follow infection-control standards (PPE use, surface disinfection, waste segregation) at all times.
- Operate GPS/dispatch devices; maintain clear radio/phone communication and accurate trip logs (departure/arrival times, mileage, basic case notes).
- Report incidents, near-misses, and equipment faults immediately; escalate risks per SOPs.
- Provide professional, courteous customer service to patients, staff, and site security.
- Participate in drills, refreshers (BLS/CPR), and safety trainings as scheduled.
Qualifications :
- Valid KSA driving license (clean driving record).
- Current BLS certification (AHA/Saudi Heart Association) and CPR/First Aid.
- Preferred: prior experience in healthcare transport/EMS/security/logistics.
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver stretchers/equipment safely with a partner.

- Communication (Arabic; basic English an advantage).

- Documentation discipline (logs, checklists, incident notes).

Working Conditions
- Shift work (day/evening/night; weekends/holidays as required).
- Indoor/outdoor activity; exposure to weather and operational environments.
